• Welcome to the Official "Shorkie Club of America" Many of you know me from www.pricelesspups.net and some of this exact information is on my site. We have spent much time, energy and money over the last 18yrs years bringing the passion of the shorkie breed to a reality and finally are on our way.

• This website was designed for the sole purpose of Informing Shorkie puppy parents to be about what we believe a shorkie to be.  We believed it to be our responsibility to give shorkie puppy parents world wide the most current and accurate information pertaining to shorkie puppies. It is our goal for puppy parents world wide to be able to make INFORMED adoptions when searching the web for a new shorkie puppy.

• Let me begin by saying we are not the only shorkie breeders on the net today and this website is intended to be a well of information for puppy parents to consider. These are  opinions that we share made up from  our 19 years of  dedication to the breed of Shorkie.  By sharing our  personal experience collectively as breeders and expertise in  shorkie breedings, we believe it gives puppy parents insight they may not other wise have.  .This website is in no way an attempt to discredit any other shorkie breeders, or to discredit anyone's breeding program.  We believe collectively that  there  is a growing problem of puppy mills and breeders that breed irresponsibly and it must not be ignored. By passing on our 18 yrs worth of experience, and creating  The SCA registry is just for our shorkie puppies and the breeders that are affiliated with. Our goal is to create a safe network of responsible breeders for puppy parent to have available to them and to empower Puppy parents world wide will to tell the difference between just any shorkie from a well bred shorkie that has lineage and genetic testing behind it.

•  The Shorkie Club of America is the only shorkie group dedicated to the ethical development and establishment of this shorkie as a  breed. • There are some breeders that will discredit us only because they have not been accepted because they do not do the genetic testing on the dogs they are breeding or they are Kennel facilities. We will only consider those who complete the required genetic testing on the dogs they breed and only TRUE in home breeders will be accepted. The Shorkie Club Of America is Free and Open To All breeders who meet the qualifications.
