But if you have a problem with a Shorkie puppy that you adopted or bought from a shorkie breeder that is not registered with the Shorkie Club Of America we will urge you to contact your BREEDER that you got your shorkie puppy from. If you bought a shorkie from a Pet Store............. you need to contact that store.  We know nothing about the dogs other breeders are breeding that are not registered with the Shorkie Club of America. 

We get many emails from puppy parents that have adopted puppies from all over the country. Examples are Alabama, Mississippi, and pet stores that have issues and questions about their now sick puppies or questions in general. We cannot help you with that. If your dog appears sick call your vet and the breeders you got the dog from.

We are not here to investigate breeders.  We only have accurate information on breeders that have joined the Shorkie Club Of America and have met all requirements.

What we do know is the Shorkie Club Of America is the Only group of breeders dedicated to the ethical development of the Shorkie breed and is required to do all their genetic testing and be true in home breeders.
